How It Works + Features

How does Streaming TV work?

Streaming TV is a full-featured streaming TV service that is tailored to you and the programming you want to watch. You access your Streaming TV subscription by downloading and installing our app on your favorite streaming media devices (including Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV).

How do I surf channels while watching a program?

Press up or down on the directional keys of your remote to change channels.

How many active streams do I get?

This is based on your active stream subscription count. An active stream means you are actively watching the Streaming TV service on a device. Streaming TV includes two active streams to two different devices. Additional streams may be added for $3/month each, up to a total of ten total streams. We recommend getting one stream for each member of your household. A faster Internet package may be required if you plan to stream multiple devices at once.

What features are included?

Streaming TV is packed with included features you’re going to love! Your subscription includes free HD programming, 50 hours of Cloud DVR, two active streams, and so much more!

Cloud DVR

How many Cloud DVR recording hours do I get?

Streaming TV includes 50 hours of Cloud DVR. Get up to 400 hours of Cloud DVR hours for a small monthly fee.

How do I record shows?

Select the program you would like to record in the Guide. The menu will give you several options, including Play and Record. Navigate to Record and select it. If it is a series, you can select to record only this episode or all episodes. You may also go back into the scheduled recording and edit the series to start recording earlier or end recording later.

How do I access Cloud DVR recordings?

To access your Cloud DVR recordings, access the menu with your device remote (instructions vary by device). Navigate to the fourth button from the left (this is known as your profile avatar) and select it. You will then see your Recorded shows and Scheduled shows. You can also view how many hours of content are recorded and how many remain.

Restart TV & Replay TV

What is Restart TV?

Restart TV is a great feature available with select programs and channels that lets you restart the program you are on to the beginning, even if it’s half over! With Restart TV, you’ll never miss the beginning again! When you see a program you want to start over, select it and press play. Depending upon the device you are using, it will either have an option to select Restart or a pop-up prompt will ask if you’d like to start from the beginning. You can also press the select button on your remote and back up to where you would like to begin.

What is Replay TV?

Replay TV is a great feature that allows us to offer up to three days of previously-aired programming and is available with most programs and channels. Did you miss the big game yesterday? No problem! Just go backwards in the guide and watch it. Want to watch a movie that aired three days ago? It’s now possible! To view recently aired programs, bring up the Guide and then press the left button on your remote. A tab will appear. Select the Replay button. You can then view available, previously-aired content and watch it.

Can you fast forward shows with Restart TV or Replay TV?

The fast forward feature is available when watching all DVR recordings, as well as most live TV, Restart TV or Replay TV programming.

To access settings, press the menu button on your remote while in the Streaming TV app, then Navigate to and select the second icon from the right (this is known as your profile avatar), then navigate to and select the gear icon on the top right, and then select Parental Controls.
