Voicemail Migration
Important Changes Coming Soon! :
United is excited to announce we are migrating Wireless customers to an improved voicemail system in Q4 2023. Please read below for important information about this change and the steps you can take to save old voicemails and voicemail greetings.
What will happen to my old voicemails?
If you are using basic voicemail (where you call into your voicemail for access), you will have access to old voicemail messages for 14 days until the message is permanently deleted. Unfortunately, there is no way to download the message or extend how long it is available. If you would like to save a voicemail that has been left within the past 14 days, play the voicemail message on speakerphone and record it with another device.
If you are using visual voicemail on iPhone, you will have access to old voicemail messages that have not been deleted from your device’s visual voicemail screen. You will be able to save/forward emails to your phone or another device.
If you are using United’s visual voicemail app on an Android smartphone, this app will no longer be available after XX/XX/2023. Customers using this app can forward the message to another platform (such as Messages or Email).
What will happen to my old greeting? Is there any way to download a voicemail greeting from a deceased loved one?
If you would like assistance downloading an old greeting, please contact United at 620-227-8641, and one of our representatives will be glad to verify the account and assist you in this process. After the voicemail migration on XX/XX/2023, customers will have 30 days to download old greetings before they are permanently deleted from the system.

How do I get to my voicemail, or what is my voicemail password?
How to set up your voicemail:
Press and hold 1.
Default passcode is 9999.
Follow instructions to select security code, record name and record greeting.
How to play messages:
Press 1 to play.
Press 7 to delete.
Press # to keep message new and go on to the next message.
During a message playback, you may:
Press 1 to rewind 6 seconds.
Press 11 to replay message.
Press 2 to pause message.
Press 3 to forward 6 seconds.
Press 33 to skip to next message.
How to change your personal greeting:
Press 3 for greeting menu.
Press 2 to record active greeting.
Record greeting followed by #.
How to change your security code:
Press 4 for personal options.
Press 4 for personal preferences.
Press 1 to modify security code.
Enter security code followed by #.
How to bypass password option:
Press 4 for personal options.
Press 8 to enable/disable bypass password.
Cancel Call Waiting
This will disable call waiting temporarily for the current call only and will reactivate itself for other calls.
Enter *70 + 10-digit number you are calling + Send.
Private Call
Enter *67 + 10-digit number you are calling + Send. (You will have to do this for every call.)
How do I set up call forwarding on my phone?
- Enable Call Forward Busy: *74 (10-digit phone number) SEND
- Enable Call Forward No Answer: *73 (10-digit phone number) SEND
- Enable Call Forward Always: *72 (10-digit phone number) SEND
- Caller ID Block (permanent): *68 SEND
- Disable Call Forward Busy: *740 SEND
- Disable Call Forward No Answer: *730 SEND
- Disable Call Forward Always: *720 SEND
How do I turn up the volume on my phone while I’m on a call?
We get this question a lot! While you’re on a call, just press the volume buttons (on the face or side). Pressing the button at any other time changes the volume for ringtones and alerts. The volume level you set while you’re in a phone call will be the default audio level for other calls until you adjust the volume in-call again.

How do I clear the cache and browser history from my Android phone?
Go into Settings, then Privacy, then Security. From there, in most browsers, you can clear your history and cache.
