Dodge City, Kansas, April 9, 2026 — Residents and businesses in Jetmore will soon benefit from a new fiber-optic network, as United’s Board of Trustees has approved a project to bring fiber connectivity to the community. Planning efforts are already underway, with construction of the main fiber network expected to begin later this year.

For over 20 years, the Jetmore community has relied on United for high-quality communications services and local support. This new project builds on that legacy by supporting the community’s long-term growth and vitality through enhanced connectivity for residents and businesses alike.

United’s investment ensures that Jetmore has the same level of connectivity as larger urban areas. Once complete, over 470 residential and business locations in Jetmore will have access to multi-gig speeds—supporting online learning and entertainment, remote work and e-commerce, telehealth, and other emerging technologies.

“We’ve proudly served Jetmore for over 20 years, and we’re excited to support its growth and ensure the community has the connectivity it needs for years to come,” said United General Manager/CEO Todd Houseman. “In addition to ultra-fast multi-gig internet, this new fiber network will provide residents and businesses access to United’s full suite of communications services, including feature-rich United Streaming TV and affordable, reliable residential voice services.”

This announcement marks the first step in bringing fiber to Jetmore. United will share additional updates, including service availability and timelines, on their Facebook page and at getunited.com.
